Mis primeros contactos en el remo tenemos que buscarlos en Algorta (Getxo), Vicaya, Spain.
Allí se podían ver muchas veces por la ventana traineras bogando en el mar Cantábrico.
Recuerdo una vez que fuimos al puerto y cuando llegó la trainera la gente la aplaudía. Hiendo hacia el puerto se podía ver dentro de un chalet que dejaban una trainera aparcada.
